The design and structure, especially the caved stairway, are so interesting and unique that architectural tours are offered, and the LED rose garden that lights up at night is also very attractive.

This is Korea’s fashion headquarter where the trendiest and hottest items can be seen and purchased. One of the best features of Dongdaemun Fashion Town is the night shopping. Most department stores like Doota Mall and Migliore are open until 5 in the morning, and Doota Duty Free is open until 12am.

This more than 100 years old traditional market is a haven for vintage lovers. It carries imported vintage clothing, hanbok (traditional clothing), and much more. Interestingly, the market is more popular for its mayak gimbap (literally “drug gimbap” because they’re so good they’re addictive) and bindaetteok (mung bean pancakes). And recently, visitors are also trying yukhoe (beef tartare).
