The back alleys of Hamilton Hotel are lined with unique and exotic restaurants, cafes and bars that even famous Korean celebrities frequent. The Itaewon Global Village Festival held every October, heats up the streets with parades and K-pop concerts.

Stretching all the way to Namsan Park, this street is a “hot place” dotted with many cozy and unique restaurants, cafes, pubs, and shops. Especially popular is the Chang Jinwoo Alley, a cluster of more than ten restaurants operated by Chang, a well-known Korean photographer. The carefree atmosphere attracts huge crowds to the area.

War Memorial of Korea

This museum exhibits the painful history of the Korean War. The outdoor exhibit includes military aircrafts, tanks and other weaponry. It also stages various military performances such as traditional martial arts, marching, and band performances.

National Museum of Korea

This world-class museum of Korea is directly connected to the subway station by a moving walk. It would probably take days to see its entire collection, which consists of more than 330,000 national relics. In addition, right next door is the National Hangeul Museum, which displays and exhibits the world’s most scientific writing system, hangeul (Korean writing system).
